Start

Use the App navigation on your device

Navigate to the Tally In App by clicking the icon

Choose your measurement System

  1. Click the Measurement System button

  2. -From the drop down, click the system you wish to use

    -Doyle is the default if not changed

Choose your Input System

  1. Click the Options Cog Icon button in the upper right

  2. -For Each Species, Log Class, or Barcode system, choose whether you would like the slower/easier Names (Dropdown) method or the faster/slightly more difficult Numbers method

    -Numbers are more difficult to begin with because they require some light memorization of the numbers that were set for your company in regards to Species, Log Class etc. Number inputs are considerably faster though

  3. If you've decided, click the Home icon and then the Tally In Icon

Create a Load

  1. Click the New Load button Choose the vendor from the drop down list

  2. -Choose the vendor from the drop down list

    -Change Load number to whatever you wish
  3. Click the Create New Load button

Edit a Load

  1. Click the Edit button for the load on the far right of the load line

  2. -Change the information as needed

    -If you changed your mind click the X in the upper right corner

  3. If you’re certain, Click the Save Load Button

Complete a Load

  1. -Be certain you've finished inputting logs for this load

    -When a load is complete and you've finished entering logs, click the lock button for the load

  2. -You will see a pop up Modal asking you to confirm

    -The load will no longer be able to accept logs or load onto the Tally In App interface

Delete a Load

  1. Click the Edit button for the load on the far right of the load line

  2. -Review the information and be certain you want to delete

    -If you changed your mind click the X in the upper right corner

  3. If you’re certain, Click the Delete Load button

Add Logs to a Load

  1. Click the Edit button for the load on the far right of the load line

  2. Click the New Log Button

  3. -If you’ve chosen number inputs, you only need to input two numbers and you will be auto tabbed to the next section

    -Example: Start at Species
    • If the species number is 1, you enter 01
    • The next section, Log Class, will automatically be tabbed
    • Continue until you've entered the diameter

  4. -Click the Save Log button

    -The previous entries stay and you simply edit them for the new log and repeat the process

In this manner, if all your sizes are 12' or White Oak, you won't have to continuously enter that over and over for each log

Add Logs

Edit a Log

  1. Click the Edit button for the load on the far right of the load line

  2. Click the line of Log you want to edit (you may have to scroll)

  3. Edit as needed

  4. -If you've changed your mind, hit the X in the corner

    -If you're good, click the Save Log button

Log Barcode

  1. Click the Edit button for the load on the far right of the load line

  2. Click the line of Log you want to edit (you may have to scroll)

  3. Click the scan button and align your device camera over the barcode, the upc line should fill up

  4. Click the stop button when needed

  5. If everything seems correct, Click the Save log button

Delete a Log

  1. Click the Edit button for the load on the far right of the load line

  2. Click the line of Log you want to edit (you may have to scroll)

  3. -Be certain you want to delete the log

    -If you changed your mind click the X in the upper right corner
  4. If you're certain, click the delet log button
